Individual Booking
These general conditions of sale apply to all bookings made by a customer subject to the special conditions applied to certain tariffs.
These terms and conditions are sent to the customer together with his booking confirmation. Any reservation entails complete and unconditional acceptance of the customer to these terms.
Unless otherwise stated, the prices are indicated in Euros and include VAT per room per night, for a given number of persons per room and for the chosen date. Breakfast and other services are charged per person per day. Hotel reserves the right to amend the tariffs offered in case of legislative and/or regulatory change that may lead to a variation in their costs (modification of the rate of VAT in force, introduction of a new tax, etc.).
Local taxes are not included in the price.
Guarantee
A valid credit card number and its expiry date are required as a guarantee at the moment of the booking.
Reservations are guaranteed until 10 pm on the scheduled day of arrival. After that time, hotel shall only hold the guaranteed reservation if they have been advised before 10 pm of the late arrival of the guests. Without manifestation of the client before this time, the cancellation policy applies.
Booking Conditions
To permanently save a reservation, a deposit equivalent to 100% of the amount of the first night is requested by American Express, Visa, MasterCard or by check in Euros payable to "Art Hotel". Reservation will not be effective without the payment of the deposit. Pursuant to Article 1590 of the French Civil Code, the deposit will be retained in case of cancellation. All security deposit paid may be refundable according to the hotel’s cancellation policy. Any unclaimed deposit before December 31 of the year in which they were acquired will be lost for the customer.
Cancellation Conditions
Any cancellation not reported within 48 hours prior to arrival will entail the debit of the total amount of the first night as compensation.
In absence of cancellation, that is to say without manifestation of the client (no-show), the total amount of the first night will be charged and will result, the automatic cancellation of the remainder of the stay.
Any modification or cancellation of a booking must be made in writing to the hotel. The date of receipt of the modification or cancellation requests (by email – post- fax) is the date adopted for the cancellation. Any request will be subjected to a written response from the Reservations Office of the hotel.
For non-refundable bookings
Please note that the credit card used to make the booking will be required upon check-in. The card holder needs to be present when checking-in. If the booking was made on your behalf by your employer please have your company's details and a photocopy of the the credit used to make the booking, a photocopy of the the identity card or passport of the person responsible and a letter authorising the hotel to take the money from the credit card.
Arrival / Departure
The arrival day, rooms are available from 4 pm. Rooms must be vacated by midday (12:00) at the latest on the day of departure. Any room occupied after this time will entail extra charges.
All drinks (bar, etc.), all missing and / or damaged items, not reported by the customer on his departure will be invoiced and debited from the customer’s credit card given as a guarantee.
Litigation
After having informed the management department, and in case he gets no appropriate response within one month, the customer may refer the matter to the mediator for Tourism and Travel, whose contact details and referral procedures are available on his website: www.mtv.travel.
